David Ward

David is a 17 year employee of MARTA.  He began his career in transit, as a Mobility Operator, before becoming a Railcar Technician in 2007.  Since then, he has worked in Mobility, Station Services, and Computer Maintenance.  He has worked diligently in Local 732 as a  Shop Steward, Executive Board Member, IT Administratio, Safety Officer, Arbitration Advocate, and Financial Secretary-Treasurer.  “My goal, is make sure our local is established and grounded for longevity, and prepared to fight for fair working conditions and benefits at the negotiating table.”
